This short comic follows two more characters from Tharumaru – investigation partners Mono and Chida, contractors of The Monument's field research department.
Known as The Requiem, Chida's void allows her to traverse into the realm of the dead, a reality that mirrors ours yet warps and haunts its visitors. While most spirits that inhabit the realm are peaceful and simply content in this strange eternity, there are some that roam disturbed. They harbour a subconscious obsession with The Requiem, watching in the shadows, moaning ‘Re... Qi...’ as the void-user wanders seemingly unaware.
In Chida’s case, she has always been cautious of such spirits, her predecessor warning her to ignore their cries for her sanity and the safety of her human vessel, however, what would happen if she were to acknowledge such desperate whispers?
