An adaptation of the short story Parade by Hiromi Kawakami.
Parade (2002) was written as a companion story to Strange Weather in Tokyo (2001), a glimpse into the simple life shared between Tsukiko and Sensei. As the two sit down to eat somen noodles late at night, she recounts a strange time from her childhood, when two tengu had begun to follow her every move.
